	SF MUSIC
"Green Desert", an LP by SERGEY JOKANOV, is one of the best
in the history of Bulgarian electronic music. The music, of a
haunting space-rock type, has psychedelic overtones accompanied
by a feeling of fusion between the listener's inner and outer
space. The "Talk With The Dead" part is specially interesting, as
it embodies concrete SF themes.

TITANIC, a Chech group of completely heavy-metalised
character, have tried in "Metal Celebration", their new album, to
combine their usual style with mystical symbolism and disaster
sci-fi themes. Some of the songs, for example "The Devil Mummy"
and "The Chaos Of The 20th Century", are quite interesting;
others are not; while some, such as "AIDS The Monster", are quite
realistic.

ATRACTION is the name of the game, and it's also the name of
the album and of the Soviet group releasing it. Although
sometimes falling in a disco groove, their songs, written by
popular Soviet poets, quite vigorously and sometimes light-
heartedly show the reality of our dream worlds. Worthy of mention
are the songs "Nautilus", "Airliner" and "Complicated World".

ALISA, the Soviet name for Alice, is also the name of one of
the leading avant-garde rock groups in that country. "Energy",
their new LP release, is an energetic new-wave treatment of
current social problems. Combining their talents with texts by
Bulgakov, Bodler and Gogol, they lead us into an anti-utopic,
socially grotesque and ironical fantasy. The music for this album
was written by Konstantin Kinchev, the leader of the group.

All those and many others will be available from us as of
March 1990.
